La Maison Cuenca sold out weeks before official sales launch

La Maison Cuenca, Uribe Schwarzkopf and Lorenz Krisai's latest project in Ecuador officially launched on Nov. 1 at a sales event in New York.
The design of La Maison reflects a dialogue between Cuenca’s architectural heritage and its evolving future. Taking cues and inspiration from the iconic cathedral located in the historic center, the building's form and materials aim to celebrate the city’s history of craftsmanship, its layered textures, and its human-scaled urban fabric. Subtle references to local construction traditions - brick tones, arches, and blue ceramic tiles - anchor the project in its context, while clean lines, generous glazing, and vertical proportions create a distinctly forward-looking sensibility.
The result is an architecture that feels both familiar and new: a continuation of Cuenca’s story written in a contemporary language.
Due to the overwhelmingly positive response and interest in the residences, all apartments were sold in the weeks before the official sales launch event. Congratulations to our long time partner Uribe Schwarzkopf!
